Chris formed various bands years ago,many involving Rich , but had to sell his amp to help fund a change in career.He gave up playing for a few years but with the lure of white hot valves and harmonic feedback he started jamming with Rich again. Having met a keen lead singer they formed Clerical Errer alongside another Chris on guitar and keyboards and Jel on drums.

Media coverage(sadly not for the music)and the failure to find a new frontman meant the band had to split.

After Steve left The Roadhogs there was an opportunity to team up with Mr. Fretless oncemore and "give it some welly".
